We train at my home in Pelham (just south of Birmingham) on alternating Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m and alternating Saturday 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. NOTE: All regular classes are offered every other week. See TRAINING CALENDAR The regular monthly fee is $50. Prospective students are welcome to patricipate in a free trial class. There is a one-time enrollment fee of $100. This covers uniform cost and the first month's fee.

For visiting students there is a mat fee of $20 per class. Personal training can be arranged outside of normal class times at the rate of $25 per hour.

We will be covering the latest concepts and training from Japan. Training is open to anyone regardless of rank or style. Bring all your training gear.

Shihan Koch is the founder of the Hidden Mountain Bujinkan Dojo. Although his twenty-six years of experience in martial arts have emphasized eastern styles, his diverse background also includes western styles such as wrestling, archery, fencing, boxing, medieval infantry combat, and Native American weaponry and traditions. In 1996, he passed his 5th Dan test and was accepted as a personal student of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and continues to travel regularly to Japan to train with him.
